Turning in-person laser training into a hybrid online course platform.
Knue Laser needed to convert a manual-based, in-person laser training curriculum into a structured online learning platform students could complete before arriving for hands-on instruction.
Business problem
Classroom time was being spent on material students could prepare for online.
The client was teaching from a printed manual while demand for training was increasing. Students were beginning to travel in for hands-on instruction, so the business needed a way to move the classroom and theory portion online without making the system hard for a non-technical owner to manage.
Primary goals
- Convert the in-person curriculum into modules, lessons, topics, and quizzes.
- Let students complete theory work before hands-on training.
- Support registration, login, payment, enrollment, and progress tracking.
- Give instructors and admins visibility into student completion.
- Keep the platform manageable inside WordPress.

Built with proven LMS tools instead of a custom learning system from scratch.
LearnDash gave the client a stable LMS foundation for lessons, topics, quizzes, enrollment, progress tracking, and future course expansion. WordPress kept ownership manageable for the business, while Stripe handled online course payment flow.
